A certified freediver training calmly on the line in Boracay's blue water
Coaching & training · 2-hour sessions · Gear included

Already breathing.Now go deeper.

No course, no syllabus — just focused time in the water with a coach who works on exactly what you want. Sharpen your equalization in the pool, refine your line technique in open water, or train depth and consistency on a structured line dive. Two hours, one focus, your goals.

For divers who want more water time

Not a course. Just you, a coach, and the thing you want to fix.

Coaching is the fastest way to grow as a freediver. You tell us what's holding you back — a stubborn equalization, a finning kick that tires you out, a turn that costs you depth — and we build the session around it. Every session follows the same calm rhythm: a little theory if you need it, a clear briefing, focused time in the water, and an honest debrief so you leave knowing exactly what to practise next.

  • Two focused hours — theory, briefing, water time & debrief
  • You set the goal — equalization, finning, static, depth or technique
  • All equipment included — long fins, mask, wetsuit & weights
  • Strict buddy-system safety — we never freedive alone

Three ways to train

Pick your session,
pick your focus.

Start in the pool to perfect your breath and technique, take it to the line in open water, or train pure depth on a structured line dive. Each session runs two hours and includes all your equipment — the only thing you bring is what you want to work on.

What we'll work on

Your session,
your menu.

You don't have to know the jargon — just tell your coach what feels hard and we'll find it on this list. These are the things divers most often want to fix, in the pool and on the line.

How a session works

The same calm
two-hour rhythm.

Every coaching session follows the same simple loop — you set the goal, we explain it, you train it, and we close the loop so you leave knowing exactly what to practise next.

Step 1

Theory, if needed

A quick whiteboard on the technique you want to fix — only as much as you actually need.

Step 2

Briefing

You tell the coach what you want to work on; we agree the plan, the drills and the safety setup.

Step 3

In the water

Focused drills in the pool or on the line, with hands-on coaching and feedback on every rep.

Step 4

Debrief

An honest review of what changed and a clear, simple plan for what to practise next.

Coaching & training
in Boracay — FAQ.

The questions we're asked most, answered honestly. Still wondering about something? Message us on WhatsApp — we love talking freediving.

It depends on the session. Static & Pool and Open Water coaching are open to anyone who has at least done a Discover Freediving session before — no certification required. In fact, coaching is a great way to sharpen your skills before you start a course. Line Dive Training is the one exception: it needs a minimum of PADI Basic Freediver (or an equivalent from another agency).

A course follows a fixed syllabus and ends in a certification. Coaching has no syllabus — you choose exactly what to work on and we build the two hours around it. There's no certification at the end; the goal is simply that you dive better, deeper or more comfortably than when you arrived.

In the pool: equalization (Frenzel, dry exercises, mouthfill intro), finning, static performance (CO₂ and O₂ tables) and dynamic technique. On the line: equalization at depth, buoyancy and relaxation, constant-weight finning and the duck dive, and free-immersion descent and ascent. Not sure what you need? Just describe what feels hard and the coach will pick the right focus.

Every session runs two hours. Coaching follows a simple loop: a little theory if needed, a briefing, in-water training, then a debrief. Line Dive Training splits the two hours into roughly 30 minutes of briefing, breathing prep and stretching, plus 90 minutes in the water.

All of your freediving equipment — low-volume mask, snorkel, long fins, wetsuit and weights — plus your coach and pool or boat access. Line Dive Training also includes a lanyard. The prices shown already include our 10% online and cash-payment discount.

Strictly. One diver descends at a time while a buddy waits at the surface; your recovery between dives is at least three times the length of your last dive; a safety diver meets you at one-third of your target depth and escorts you up; you only safety divers at your own depth level; and your lanyard stays clipped to the line the entire time you're in the water.

Absolutely — many divers stack a pool session to fix technique with a line session to apply it at depth, or book several over a few days to build real progress. Add as many as you like to your cart, and message us if you'd like us to plan a sequence around your goals.

Yes — we don't run training dives below 40 metres. Within that, there's no fixed target: line sessions progress entirely within your comfort zone and your current ability. Depth comes from relaxation, not force, so your coach will only ever encourage the next metre when the last one felt easy.
