Everything you might want to know before you dive with us — from how deep you'll go to how to get to Boracay. Still curious? We're a WhatsApp message away.
Not at all — it's one of the easiest sports to learn. Most of the time you're really just doing three simple things: floating, kicking and breathing. There's a bit more to learn, like how to use the equipment and stay safe — but if you can breathe through your mouth, you can most likely learn to dive.
It depends on you — everyone breathes at a different rate, and beginners tend to use more air. Discover dives last around 40 minutes; for certified fun divers we plan about 50 minutes. We're flexible, though — if you're good on air, your divemaster will happily stay down a little longer.
On the Discover program you'll go to a maximum of 12 metres. If you're certified, your maximum depth simply follows your certification level.
Statistics show recreational scuba diving is almost as safe as swimming — especially with PADI procedures, small groups and a careful, attentive team like ours.
Dive computers are mandatory for all divers, and they're included as part of the gear we provide — no extra charge, no need to bring your own.
Yes, you can dive with contact lenses. You can't wear glasses under a mask, but we also offer masks with corrective lenses if you need them.
From December to February the water sits around 25–26°C; in the summer months it climbs to about 30°C. We provide wetsuits to keep you comfortable.
Yes — in fact a light breakfast before diving is recommended.
No — alcohol is not allowed before diving, for everyone's safety.
A hat, sunglasses and a towel. If you tend to get motion sickness, it's a good idea to take a seasickness tablet in the morning.
For safety, allow a minimum of 24 hours between your last dive and your flight. Diving after flying, on the other hand, is no problem at all.
Minors aged 10 to 18 need written consent from a parent or guardian to dive with us. Children between 8 and 10 can join one of our Kids programs.
Absolutely — non-divers are welcome on the boat whenever we have extra spots available. We just prioritise divers first.
Almost any time! Even in the rainy season the showers tend to be short and strong, with the sun returning soon after. November to April is the dry season; July to November is the quieter off-peak.
From Manila, fly to either Caticlan or Kalibo airport. Caticlan is just 30 minutes from Boracay and the most convenient; Kalibo is often cheaper but around 2 hours from the jetty port. From Caticlan Jetty Port a short ferry reaches Boracay, then a tricycle or van takes you to your hotel. We're happy to help arrange your transfers.
