Explore Open WaterMost people come to Boracay sure they want to try one of freediving or scuba. The Discover Combo settles the question — you try both, back to back, on the same morning, with a relaxed snack break in between.
You'll start gentle: a freediving classroom and your first calm descent on a single breath, hand-over-hand down the rope to a soft 10 metres. Then, after a drink and a bite at our boutique, you'll strap on a tank and take your first real breaths underwater — finishing with a full guided dive over a living coral reef. No experience, no certification, no strong-swimming required.
Here's exactly how the combo day unfolds — gentle freediving first while you're freshest, a relaxed break in the middle, then scuba and a full reef dive to finish. Times are confirmed with your booking manager.
Meet your freediving instructor for a focused classroom — breathing mechanics, equalization and the golden rules — then practise relaxation and the final-breath sequence on dry land before you get in the water.
Into the open water for your first real freedives. Pull the rope hand-over-hand, equalize and descend at your own pace to a gentle 10 metres — your instructor beside you every metre. Relax, be lazy, and enjoy the silence below.
Surface, dry off and refuel. Grab a snack and a cold drink from our beachside boutique to recharge before the afternoon — the perfect pause between breath-hold and bubbles.
Switch worlds. Your PADI Pro fits your scuba gear and walks you through how it all works, then you'll practise a few basic skills in calm, shallow water and take your very first breaths underwater on a tank.
The moment it all builds to — a full guided dive over a living coral reef to a gentle 12 metres, hand-in-hand with your instructor. Glide with the fish, meet the reef, and find out exactly why people fall for scuba.
That's a wrap. Surface smiling, debrief with your instructors and collect the photos from your day — two first times, one story to tell.

Two activities is hungry work. Between your freedive and your scuba dive you'll pause at our beachside boutique to grab a snack and a cold drink — recharge, dry off in the shade and get ready for the main event.
