What is Discover Freediving Ocean?

A first breath into the world of freediving.

Curious about freediving but not ready to commit to a full certification course? The Discover Freediving Ocean session is a fun and relaxed introduction to breath-hold diving in the open water — guided, safe, and designed for complete beginners.

This two-hour session includes a focused classroom, dry-land theory practice, and a guided open-water session where you'll discover Free Immersion (FIM) — descending along a vertical guide rope, hand-over-hand, at your own pace to a gentle 10 metres. No rush — just you, the rope and the ocean beneath you.

Today's journey

Your first breath-hold,
in two steps.

It's gentler than you imagine. A short classroom and a little dry-land practice, then into the open water for your first guided freedive on the rope — calm, supervised, and entirely at your own pace.

1Step 01 · On land

Classroom & dry-land theory

First, a focused 30-minute classroom: breathing mechanics, equalization, the golden rules of freediving and what to expect underwater. Then you'll practise on dry land — relaxation, the final breath sequence, recovery breathing and buddy communication — before you get in the sea.

2Step 02 · In the open water

Free immersion on the rope

Into the ocean for around 90 minutes. Pull the rope, equalize and descend at your own pace to a gentle 10m — your instructor beside you every metre. Relax, be lazy and enjoy the silence below.
