Divemaster is the bridge to the professional ranks. Over three weeks you'll refine every skill to demonstration quality, learn to map a site, brief and guide certified divers, and assist on real courses — building the judgement and presence that mark out a true dive leader. It's the most respected step before becoming an instructor.
The PADI Divemaster course is the first professional rating in recreational diving — and the most rewarding step many divers ever take. We run it as a structured 3-week program so you don't just tick competencies, you genuinely grow into the role: theory, demonstration-quality skills, site mapping, rescue scenarios and real-world guiding, in a sensible order, with time to absorb each part.
You'll shadow and assist on live courses — Discover Scuba, Open Water, Advanced — learn to brief and lead certified divers, and finish by guiding real customers under supervision. By graduation you'll have the judgement, presence and logged experience that mark out a trusted dive leader.

Divemaster blends knowledge development you complete at your own pace with three weeks of hands-on, mentored training. It's performance-based and progressive — you build each competency to a professional standard before taking on the next.
Work through dive theory, physics, physiology, equipment, decompression theory and the divemaster's role — online, on any device, at your own pace. Start before you arrive and we'll review the harder topics together in the classroom.
