Dive Packages in Boracay: 3, 5 & 7 Dives | New Wave Divers

Dive Packages in Boracay: 3, 5 & 7 Dives | New Wave Divers — New Wave Divers Boracay

If you are a certified diver planning more than a single dip, dive packages in Boracay are the way to go. Bundling your dives into a 3-, 5- or 7-dive pack gets you the same guided reef, wall and wreck dives at a lower price per dive — and the pack runs for your whole stay, so you can dive as intensively or as casually as you like. Most visitors don't stay long in Boracay, so these packs are built for divers who want to fit in a lot of diving in a short window (or, less often, across a full week). This guide compares the three packs, spells out exactly what is included, and helps you pick the right one.

What is a Boracay dive package?

A dive package is simply a bundle of guided fun dives for certified divers, sold together at a better rate than paying for each dive one at a time. Every dive is the same as a standard fun dive — a small guided group, a PADI instructor-guide in the water with you, full rental gear and a dive computer, and boat transfers out to the site. The only difference is the price per dive, which steps down with each larger pack, and the flexibility: your dives are valid for your entire stay in Boracay, not a single date.

Packs are for divers who already hold a certification (PADI, SSI, SDI or any recognised agency). Bring your certification card and your logbook — we do a quick check and, if it has been a while since your last dive, we can build a refresher into your first dive of the pack.

The three packs: 3, 5 & 7 dives compared

We offer three fun-dive bundles, plus the single fun dive for anyone who only wants one. The more dives you commit to, the lower the cost works out per dive:

  • Single fun dive — one guided dive. Perfect if you just want to sample Boracay's reef or you are short on time.
  • 3-dive pack — a relaxed dive day or two. Enough to see a couple of the signature sites without giving your whole trip over to diving.
  • 5-dive pack — our weekend pack. Spread across a couple of days it makes a proper weekend of diving, at a better per-dive rate than the 3-pack.
  • 7-dive pack — the best value per dive, and enough to see all of Boracay's best sites in just 3–4 days. The pick for keen divers on a short, dive-focused trip.

Because prices are updated from time to time, we list the current rate for each pack on its own product page — tap any of the links above for today's price. As a rule of thumb, the per-dive rate is lowest on the 7-pack and highest on the single dive, with the 3- and 5-packs in between.

What's included in every pack

Whichever pack you choose, each dive includes the same essentials, so there are no surprise add-ons on the day:

  • A PADI instructor or divemaster guiding your group in the water.
  • Full rental scuba gear — BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins and tank.
  • A personal dive computer for every diver.
  • Boat transfers from the resort out to the dive site and back.
  • Weights, air fills and the guide's local site knowledge.

Underwater photos or a private guide can usually be arranged as extras — just ask when you book. If you need a piece of your own kit serviced or want to dive nitrox, mention it and we will sort the details.

Which pack is right for your trip?

The best way to choose is to think about how much you want to dive and how many days you have — not the calendar week. We run up to four boat dives a day (four in a single day is a lot for most people, but it means even a short trip can hold a surprising number of dives), so a dive-heavy few days is very doable here:

  • A weekend of diving: the 5-dive pack is the natural fit — a couple of dives across two days is a full, satisfying weekend underwater.
  • A short, dive-focused trip (3–4 days): the 7-dive pack lets you see all of Boracay's best sites in that window, at the lowest per-dive rate.
  • Just a taste or a single dive day: a single fun dive or the 3-dive pack keeps diving to a corner of the trip.
  • A full week (less common in Boracay): any pack spreads out comfortably across your stay, leaving plenty of beach time in between.

You do not have to decide the exact sites in advance. We match each day's dives to the conditions, your experience level and what is being seen on the reef that week, so your guide plans the best mix as your stay unfolds.

How the savings work

Two things make a pack cheaper than booking dive by dive. First, the bundled per-dive rate itself drops with each larger pack. Second, we offer a 10% discount when you book online and settle in cash at the resort, which applies on top of the pack rate. Combined, a keen diver on a 7-pack pays noticeably less per dive than a walk-in paying for singles. For the exact current figures, check the product page for the pack you want — we keep those rates up to date rather than pinning a number in this guide that could drift.

Where you'll dive on your pack

Boracay has around 20 dive sites within a short boat ride — several of them big enough to dive more than once, working a different area of the site each time — and your pack can mix any of them. Expect gentle coral gardens ideal for the first dive back, deeper walls such as the ones off Yapak for experienced divers, and a couple of small wrecks and artificial reefs that pull in schooling fish. Marine life runs from turtles, reef sharks and cuttlefish to frogfish, nudibranchs and the occasional mandarinfish at dusk. Browse the full dive-site guide to see what each site offers, or read our companion piece on fun diving in Boracay for certified divers for a fuller picture of a typical dive day.

Not certified yet?

Dive packages are for certified divers, but you do not have to miss out. If you have never dived, a Discover Scuba session lets you try it with an instructor — no certification needed — and if you catch the bug, the PADI Open Water course certifies you in a few days so you can join the fun dives and packs on your next trip. Once you are certified, everything on this page is open to you.

How to book your dive package

Pick the pack that matches your stay on its certified-diver page, book online to lock in the 10% cash saving, and bring your certification card and logbook when you arrive. We will confirm your dives, check your gear sizes, and get you on the boat. If you are unsure which pack suits you, message the team and we will help you plan the right number of dives for your trip.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a dive package in Boracay cost?

The per-dive rate steps down with each larger pack — the single fun dive is the highest per-dive rate and the 7-dive pack the lowest. Because we keep prices current, the exact figure for each 3-, 5- or 7-dive pack is shown on its own product page, and booking online with cash payment adds a 10% discount.

Do I need to be certified to buy a dive package?

Yes. Packs are guided fun dives for certified divers — bring your certification card and logbook. If you are not certified, start with a Discover Scuba session or the PADI Open Water course, then the packs are open to you.

How many dives can I do in a day?

We run up to four boat dives a day. Four in one day is a lot for most people, but it does mean a short, dive-focused trip can fit a whole pack — a 7-dive pack, for example, works comfortably over three or four days.

What is included in the price?

Every dive includes a PADI instructor-guide in the water, full rental gear, a personal dive computer, weights, air and boat transfers to the site and back. Photos, a private guide or nitrox can be added on request.

Which pack should I choose?

Match it to how much you want to dive and how long you're here. The 5-dive pack is our weekend pack; the 7-dive pack lets keen divers see all the best sites in just 3–4 days at the lowest per-dive rate; and a single dive or the 3-dive pack suits a taste or one dive day.

Can beginners or nervous divers join a fun-dive pack?

If you are certified but out of practice, we can build a short refresher into your first dive of the pack, and your guide always matches the site and depth to your comfort and experience.
