Pick a preferred night — our booking manager confirms your slot. We meet at the shop around 6:30 PM to gear up, then walk in from the beach at dusk.
Pay the balance in cash to keep your 10% off — card payments in the shop are charged at the standard rate.
A single night dive is ₱2,700 — but you don't have to book it on its own. Roll your night dives into a 3, 5 or 7-dive Fun Dive package and mix day and night however you like. Same gear, dive computer and instructor, with the per-dive rate dropping to ₱2,486.
Right in front of New Wave Divers is a quiet shore site with a mostly sandy bottom, patches of sea grass and the occasional head of hard coral — not the most glamorous reef by daylight, but a genuinely fascinating dive for the trained eye, especially once the sun goes down.
At night the reef changes shift. Flounders emerge onto the sand, seahorses cling to the sea grass, and shoals of squid hover in your torch beam. Crustaceans and hunting critters come out to feed, and corals open up to the dark — a slow, absorbing macro dive just a few fin-kicks from the beach.
You're already certified, so there's no theory and no waiting around. Meet us at the shop at dusk, we sort the gear, briefing and torches — then you walk in from the beach. Here's how a night dive with us unfolds.
Meet at the dive centre around 6:30 PM with your certification card and logbook — any agency works. We fit your full kit and a dive computer, hand you a torch, and your instructor briefs the site, the light signals and the critters you're likely to find after dark.
No boat — you wade in straight from the sand in front of the shop with your instructor beside you. Sweep your torch over the seagrass and sand and let the night reef reveal itself: seahorses, squid, flounders and feeding critters in your beam. A calm, easy shore dive, close to home.
Your night dive is a Fun Dive — so it slots straight into a pack. Buy 3, 5 or 7 dives, mix day and night however you like, and the price drops every time you splash in. Same gear, dive computer & instructor, a better rate per dive, valid your whole stay.

By day it looks like empty sand and seagrass. By torchlight it turns into one of the most absorbing dives on the island — slow, close-up and full of life that only comes out after dark. Here's what your beam tends to find.
The sandy flats are where the night belongs to the hunters. Flatfish like flounders shuffle across the sand, shrimps and crabs scuttle out to feed, and eyes glint back at your torch beam. Patient, macro-style diving — the slower you go, the more you see.
The patches of sea grass are the spot to slow right down and look closely. Seahorses curl their tails around the blades, and all sorts of tiny, well-camouflaged life clings on around them — a favourite find for divers who love the small stuff.
Hang in the water and you'll often catch squid hovering at the edge of your light, shifting colour as they hunt. They're one of the signature sights of this dive — the kind of encounter that makes the night version of the house reef so special.
